Commissions
 While Ed would love to do commissions, his first responsibility is to complete his published projects as per his exclusive contract with DC.  If Ed finds himself ahead of the game, and has enough extra time to take on some commissions, we will make announcements to that effect both on this page, and through the mailing list.  

Please note:  Payment for commissions will only be collected once Ed has accepted that particular commission, and is ready to begin work.  Having your name on a waiting list entitles you to do just that:  wait your turn.  It does NOT guarantee that Ed will be able to get to you in any set time frame.  It also does not guarantee that Ed will complete your commission for any set price.  Prices are subject to change at any time.  Since no money is required to be on a waiting list, having your name on the waiting list does NOT constitute a binding agreement of any kind.  

Best bet:  If you are interested in a commission, simply join the mailing list and as soon as anything changes, you will be the first to know.  Please do not check back with us every so often to check on the status of commissions.  If anything changes, and you are on the mailing list, you will hear about it.

Pin-ups
From time to time, Ed does some pin-up pieces (mostly 9" x 12", with the occassional 11" x 17" thrown in) as warm-up exercises, practice pieces, or just for his own amusement.  These pieces often vary from somewhat rough/unfinished, to very polished.  When these pieces become available, they will be listed for sale on Ed's page at www.comiconart.com, or sold at auction on eBay.  Ed does not take any requests or "suggestions" for this type of work, it's just whatever he feels like doing at the time.

Time Payments
Time payments can be arranged on larger purchases. As a general rule, a 20% non-refundable deposit is required on all time payments. This deposit will be credited towards the purchase price of the art when payment is made in the agreed upon timeframe.  The exact terms of the time payment (duration of time allowed, etc) can vary based on the size of the purchase and the amount of time requested, and these terms can be discussed on a case-by-case basis.

Shipping
Domestic shipping is $12 for 11" x 17" artwork, and $9 for 9" x 12" artwork.  Insurance is required, and is an additional $1.50 for the first $100, $1 for each additional hundred or part thereof.  So, for example, if your purchase is $225, insurance would be an additional $3.50.  

International shipping is $25 for regular air mail or $40 for Global Express Mail.  Insurance is not available on regular air mail, but is available with GEM.  GEM is strongly recommended on all purchases over $300.  GEM is trackable and requires a signature.  There is no tracking on regular air mail, and we cannot be held responsible for any packages that are lost in transit when sent via regular air mail.

We are more than happy to combine shipping on multiple website and/or eBay purchases.  Each additional item is $1 extra for shipping (both domestic and international).

We can also hold art to ship with future purchase.  We just ask that you pay the initial shipping cost with your first purchase.  From that point on you can simply add $1 for each additional item purchased (plus insurance).
